Amanda R DeWitt

30-something teacher trying to figure it all out

April 30, 2018

January, February, March and April 2018

Well Happy New Year, Valentine’s Day, Spring and Birthday to me.

It’s been awhile again, but I’m back with a handful of updates.

First and foremost–I made it through the semester.

This was probably the roughest one yet. And I wasn’t even planning a wedding!

I think it was a combination of recovering from the wedding (we just FINALLY finished the thank you notes!!), some major anxiety I was having about life in general, an officer quitting at NE STEM 4U, my sweet grandma Rose passing away, and the most intense practicum yet.

I am not exaggerating when I say that I did not think I would make it through this semester and was considering what other options I had.

I wrote more of a post on my mental health over at the pink toast blog, so check that out if you want to hear more about my journey.

Here I’m going to share some highlights of the past few months.
